Organizing events has always ran in our Nuffnang blood. Not being able to organize any on-ground events during the pandemic was a torturous experience for our team who thrives to create experiences like no other. When the ban for on-ground events was lifted, we celebrated by putting together a uniquely haunting and memorable experience for our partners.

Partnering up with the amazing people at Hauntu, we wanted to encourage our attendees (mainly our partners and influencers) to have fun and interact with each other, unlike other events where people stick to their own corners. Our goal for the event was to catch up with our influencers and content creators who we’ve been apart from for so long, provide opportunities for new and memorable experiences, and at the same time shout out Hauntu Malaysia’s new Lost In Karak episode to the public. For the boomers who may not know what Hauntu Malaysia is all about, Hauntu is an immersive haunted house like no other. It’s a 60 minutes story-telling haunted house, where you are a part of the cast. Not only are you able to experience the journey, you are also able to interact with the actors through sinister rituals and gripping live performances.

The excitement of the attendees alone generated a total of 170 Instagram Stories to create hype and noise surrounding the event before it even began! These organic postings helped promote Hauntu Malaysia which contributed to the overall awareness of Lost In Karak for them. During the event, the influencers and content creators created more than 50 Instagram Stories, which were reposted on Nuffnang Asia and Hauntu Malaysia’s own platform. From this event alone, we garnered a potential reach of 14 million with more than RM150k estimated earned media value.

As most brands are opening up to having more on-ground events post-pandemic, we strongly encourage you to create interesting experiences for the audience if you are looking to garner results similar to our event with Hauntu Malaysia. Avoid complicating the idea. If it is fun and engaging, you will pull in your crowd.

Once again, we would like to extend our humble gratitude to Hauntu Malaysia for blocking a whole day specially for Nuffnang and our partners to experience thier Lost in Karak episode. Our Get Hauntogether with Nuffnang event was held on 30th June 2022 at The Linc KL.

It was a pleasant experience for the team to be able to experience it alongside the influencers during the event.
